COVID-19 Member Information and Play Waivers.

 

Please abide by the rules we have put together. If we are unable to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our staff and members, we will close the club. That’s just the way it is. Safety first! (Extracted from Presidents email 5/6/20).

 

 

Here is a summarized list of how MTC will operate starting Monday May 11th at 8 am. 

  • Singles only. Two players from different households can play. See rules of play below.
  • Families who have sheltered in place may elect to play with more than two people on the court. So that means singles or doubles (or Aussie dubs).
  • Doubles, where each team is from the same sheltered in place household, is not allowed at this time. We will assess how things go and may make a different decision in the future.
  • Members only. No guests permitted at this time.
  • Courts available by reservation only every two hours starting at 8am. Play will be for an hour and half with a half hour between reservations for player transition and court sanitizing. Court Reservation Policy
  • We are allocating the 8 am reservation each day for our members who are 65+.
  • No Ball machines available. We will continue to assess the procedures to see if this is something possible in the future.
  • Hours of operation: M-F 8am – to 7:30p (last court reservation slot is 6 pm), Sat/Sun 8am – 5:30pm (last reservation slot is 4 pm)
  • Clubhouse, locker rooms and café will be closed and off limits.
  • Players will enter at the back gate and exit through the front entrance.
  • COVID-19 Waiver/Player Responsibilities document will be required to be signed by all players prior to the first time they are on the court.
  • A teaching court will be available starting May 18. Members may use a reservation to set up a hit session with a pro (singles only). All “Player On Court Responsibility” protocol is to be followed along with only two cans of balls allowed.
  • Reservations for courts will be available as of Friday May 8.

 

MTC COURT RESERVATION PROCEDURE PHASE I

  • Courts 1,2,4,5,7,9,10 and 11 will be available by reservation only.
  • Court reservations are in two-hour slots starting at 8am (8 am slot is for 65+ members only). Play will be a maximum of an hour and a half which allows a half hour for court sanitation and player transition before the next reserved time.
  • Court reservations can be made up to a week in advance.
  • Players may reserve a maximum of one reservation per day. Please make sure to cancel reservations so other members have a chance to play. We will assess this policy after our first week.
  • We have a new view in our portal that shows you available courts and times. If there is an open court on the day you want to play, you can go in and make a reservation.
  • PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP TO MTC AND HOPE THERE IS AN OPEN COURT. MAKE SURE TO BOOK IT AHEAD OF TIME!
  • Reservations can be made by using your Member Online portal or by calling the front office at 415-457-5160.
